Embodyment is a local band from my hometown of Dallas, Texas. they kick ass. that is, they used to kick ass. they were the absolute best when they were supplication. I'm not really into the new singer and direction they have taken most of the good guys left to form The Famine, with is a kick ass band too. i getting into this band. the track Golgotha is work buying the disc. this is the way Embodyment should have continued to sound. this colletion is so feakin raw, i still haven't stopped playing it. this is a must have for fans of Embodyment. can't beat this old stuff. but man do i disagree with you on the 'change of sound' stuff that they did later on. that's FANTASTIC stuff too...but its EASY to imagine that they are two different bands.

ReplyDeleteI actually like all their music. I remember when embrace the eternal came out and i loved it, but when narrow scope of things came out i loved it as well. either way i like it.
