The Grape Prophet was released in 1992, and from what i know of L.S.U., it's the first concept album they released. this is a great album with a ton of great hooks. it takes some investigation to totally understand the lyrical content of the album, but its well worth the investigation. there is a great interview here that explains the meaning behind the album. Mike Knott is the writer and backbone of L.S.U. and has released some freakin amazing work over the years. now, this particular release is no longer avalible except by CDR on Mike's website. its a great listen and i know if you give it a chance, you will totally get into the story line of Ellis and The Grape Prophet.
