Intense Millenium and the possible darkness that follows PT 1: Vengeance Rising- Human Sacrifice

so here is the first of the items i received from IMR. I wanted to be able to reserve judgment till I have spent a little more time looking at them, but that aint gonna to happen. Everything i have is being placed in the RAWR folder for you to download, at your convenience. First off, the inserts leave a little to be desired. I have to believe after all this time, there have been some dudes here or there who got some rockin images of Vengeance in concert that would have been perfect for this release. all that's really in here is the lyrics(who the hell dosent know these songs by heart at this point) and a few pics here and there and the creepy pic of Bob Beeman(nothing personal). As for the music, i actually loved the mix of the first recording. i wondered what the new versions would sound like. to be honest, i dont really hear to much of a difference. so all in all with this release im left wanting. but who isnt these days, right? that guy knows what im talking about..haha
like i said before, the entire package is included here, whaaaaatever.

Intense Millenium, and the possible darkness that follows...

ok, i am a huge fan of the first 2 vengeance albums, and a liker of the third and forth. yeah i know, fair weather, sue me. recently this record company/ distribution group, whatever called Intense Millennium Records formed with the possible intent of re-releasing old metal albums back when we was all fab. i of course was a very curious person and wanted to get these, at least the vengeance ones to see if the remastered sound was improved and to see the artwork for myself.

i have received them.

i will in the next few days finish scanning all appropriate images and uploading the albums so that you guys can check them out and see what you think. the music will be uploaded on hotfile, so act accordingly.

Map- Eastern Skies, Western Eyes

I love MAP. i love it so much i wanna take Map behind the grocery store and get Map pregnant. not really. anyway, i really like this album. this came out around 2000 and i first heard it sometime in 2004. when i first heard Lazy Susan Serenade, it was one of those "soundtrack of my life" moments. no its not metal, no its not even heavy, its just real underwater music. do yourself a favor if you haven't ever checked MAP out, give this a listen. Josh Dooley is a master songwriter/musician. this was one of two EP's that came out in 2000. so anyway...

so rapidshare is kinda going to pot, so im not relly sure whats in going to do about all the files. im thinking of switching to hotfile or megaupload of something but im not sure if i can just transfer files to hotfile or whatever. so if you see files disapearing, thats why. i'll try to get everything resettled as soon as i can. take care folks...

Nailed Promise- Realize

this is a local band from my hometown of Dallas TX. this groove/hardcore band released Realize around the beginning of 1998. i saw then in concert a few times and have always liked their music. i remember seeing them play at a CD release party for this not-so-great rapcore band, Travail. i think Living Sacrifice, Embodyment and Nailed Promise were the bands playing besides Travail. Nailed and Living Sacrifice stole the show in my opinion. this is a great first CD and i hope you guys give it a chance. enjoy...
